Hands down a slice of home. The mangollada is AMAZING and just spicy enough. They have a $1.25 tacos special on Monday.

What a surprise! Technically, this is a Mexican ice cream shop, but my son and I had heard that their food was also really good. I am so glad we tried it. I had 3 tacos, al pastor, chorizo, and steak and they all were fantastic! The chorizo was my favorite but they were all good. There were two notable things that 3 Mangos had going for their tacos, 1) hands-down, the best corn tortillas we've had so far, and 2) their salsa/hot sauce (pictured) was AMAZING - such a unique flavor. We didn't try their ice cream or smoothies, but a fellow customer highly recommended their Diabolito, a spice mango-based smoothie with a hint of tamarind. We will definitely be back here

I don't know if I'm talking about the right person, but i went today (Wednesday at 8:30 pm) and WOW these are such amazing people!!! The name on the receipt Gisselle but it was so busy it might have been rung up on someone else's name, (she was young 18ish and super pretty!) but if it was her I just want to say she is the nicest person I have ever encountered in food service or anywhere actually :-) they want have the best ice cream too

Tasty! Looking for an after dinner treat on a Friday night, we thought we would try something new and decided to check this place out. There is ample parking behind it, so it's easy to access. The place is simple- an ice cream counter with a variety of ice cream, some from Hudsonville and some that looked homemade- and popsicles, some creamy and some fruity, with chunks of fruit in them- and some booths and tables. You take a number and wait for it to be called, in Spanish, and then order. Due to the Spanish menu and numbers, I wasn't sure if the women behind the counter would know English, so I prepared to order by trying to Google what most of the items were. This strategy was not particularly successful, because many of the items have funny names that aren't related to the item itself. I have no problem with this- this is a business located in a primarily Spanish speaking neighborhood, so my ignorance of the language is not their problem. In any event, I was thankful for the large colorful photos of the items that helped guide my purchase! I tried the Fresa Michocana which was strawberry ice cream, strawberry yogurt, strawberry syrup and freash strawberries. It was like eating the essence of strawberry- more strawberry than a strawberry! Very sweet, creamy and cold. My wife had a mango yogurt parfait with granola- "Yogurt de Sabor" but felt it was too sweet and not tart enough. It was tasty, but very sweet! All in all this was a fun experience and tasty treat that definitely makes me want to check out more Mexican ice cream/confectionary!

Is the hot summer making you feel groggy or cranky? Maybe even uninspired and unmotivated? Let the Mexican flavors of Los 3 Mangos Michoacan revive your spirit and make you feel alive! During the hot months, you have an amazing selection of popsicles with flavors like horchata (rice pudding) & fruit flavors with big chunks of fresh fruit inside. Mmmmm. There is also a nice array of ice-cream flavors like piña-picada (pineapple) and all the other typical ones you may be used to (strawberry, butter pecan, etc). These ice-creams can be made into a different kind of treat by adding fresh fruit, lime juice and maybe even a sprinkle of chile on top. They have fun names like el diablo (the devil) & la borrachita (the drunk). Everything is really fresh and you can see them make your food, assembly line style. There is also a small selection of savory food like grilled sandwiches (tortas a la plancha) and corn on the cob with all the delightful mayonnaise, parmesan cheese and chile flakes your heart desires. For drinks, you can choose from Jarritos' flavors, coke products or agua fresca. There are booths to sit and eat your tasty treats. The day we were there, it was hotter than hell inside so we ate standing outside (no outside seating). Street parking was easy to find and everything excited my taste buds so a return trip is in store next time I'm in Grand Rapids!
